Totally in awe this morning...

Got up this morning to check some things this morning, checked email of course, and received a nice holiday greeting from a perspective employer. "we will see you soon and have a happy holiday". I was in such a mind blown experience. Hoping for the interview for a New Year experience and landing the job. New place to live, new perspective in progressing towards a future in Game Design.

New game in the works, learning Ben Tyres programming in Game Studio 2. I was looking for some new works with Shaun Spaulding's latest on the ARPG game tutorials that I wanted something to read on Amazon kindle. Found Ben's book and wow, the game design with 700 pages of work really hit the nest egg of programming topics. A good in depth look at Game Maker and some unique sprites to go with the book. Unfortunatly , the sprites, artwork, are not downloadable so its all concept and hand drawn art to work in the game. I have to say though, producing everything from scratch is refreshing. Working a bit of B.I.T in the process to give it my own feel and design. Will keep pushing through to the end and see what the end result will take hold. Excited to get a fresh look and some other point of view coding practices.
