Excitement is building! And as of this date the marker board is clean! All the beginning phase of Alien Effect has been completed. Roughly, ooh I'd say about two months of work down and the game is looking pretty good. Going for a tester date of March 1st. Some kinks to work out but all in all pleased with the outcome of Alien Effect. Looking at getting the Android platform and moving games over for the kids and others. Android SDK was downloaded, when money comes available I will pick up GMS2: mobile (fingers crossed).
Tightened up the code for the player; didn't even click I had collisions running for absolutely nothing but a check. Ugh! The lightbulb clicked. So less tax on the fps, all though...2984 fps is holding strong even with a full window of aliens the tax is minimal. So I thought up a question. At the end of each level instead of continuing with a rebound of Aliens I think I will head to a new room where the spawner will begin again. New monster and new aliens, maybe faster, slower, don't know at this point. MOVING ON!
